The ghost of Easter past

Don't let the title fool ya. I have just been remiss in posting due to my own tendencies toward slackerdom...

Easter weekend has come and gone, and I will be the first to admit that it was by far the most enjoyable holiday I have had in a very long time! Alex and I went up to Vermont to visit my grandmother for the 3 days and we got to enjoy the last bits of snow, some relaxing movie marathons, and a trip to the local brewery. We kind of went there just to check out the scene...and it turned out to be this very intimate restaurant style place with the owner just hanging out pouring a few of their tap beers. The 3 of us shared the sampler which came with 6 different styles of beer, and then we got 2 more samples of what they had in take home 6-packs...because we had to be sure we would like it ;) It was a really nice and stress-free weekend. We got hooked on playing Rummy500, which led to a 3am marathon game! The brewery had a deck of cards which prompted the pick-up game...which then carried on at home. We plan on making regular trips to this place. The beer is good, the people friendly, and the fun free-flowing :)
